Omni-site Releases New Product - XR-100 Complete MicroRTU System
Greenwood, Indiana - April 1, 2002 - The Omni-site.net XR-100 Complete MicroRTU System provides the functionality of a telephone alarm dialer and telemetry radio in a complete package that is easy to assemble.
The XR-100 comes pre-wired with all the necessary Omni-site accessories. The unit comes with battery backup to transmit alarm conditions during power outages. Additionally the unit comes with a maintenance keyswitch to disable false alarms during maintenance operations. Another great feature is the ability of the XR-100 to accept (10) optically isolated input alarm channels that have the ability to monitor normally open, normally closed dry contacts or 120VAC signals. Also, included is the phantom antenna, coax cable and power supply in a sturdy NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure.
The XR-100 is user configurable via the internet using a standard web browser, allowing the user to monitor and configure their equipment worldwide. Additionally this low cost unit provides nationwide monitoring capabilities from a central location without long distance telephone charges. Monthly service fees are 50% less than standard telephone lines, and coverage is available for 98% of the U.S.A. and Canada
