February 14, 2007 - Omni-site Releases New Product - The Viper

Greenwood, Indiana - February 14, 2007 -

Omni-site is proud to announce the new Viper Lift Station Monitoring Panel, available starting March 20, 2007.

The Viper Lift Station Monitoring Panel provides a low-cost solution to meet the demands of utility managers who must balance professional results with a small budget. The Viper is a flexible, easy to install and configure, powerful lift station monitor that offers many of the advanced features of the XR50 but at a lower cost.

The Viper provides the capability to monitor remotely located sewage lift stations without dedicated telephone lines or proprietary radio systems. Your connected lift station is completely monitored over the Internet using just a web browser, so there is no software to buy. If an abnormal condition occurs, notifications are sent by e-mail, pager, or voice call to any location.

The Viper's features include:

  • Microprocessor based controller and alarm monitor
  • Report daily runtime and on/off cycles up to 3 pumps
  • Report pump draw-down and refill times per cycle
  • Analyze pump operation before failures occur
  • Calculate total station flow without a flow meter
